Hello my name is Brenda Nickolaus and I am an artist. I started drawing by looking closely at nature and the Sunday comics. I have had pencil and paper with me ever since. In gathering ideas for my drawing I received my first camera from my Mom and Dad and started photographing children, the family dog and cat. I went to horse shows and started selling my photography and art work. After graduating colleage I realized I loved working with children and photography and took a job as a traveling children's photographer. I learned lighting and poses but most importantly how to get that child to open up, relax and give me a "real" smile. At the right time and with the support of my loving husband I started my photography studio in Texas. It was a great privilege recording special moments in peoples lives.Moving to Florida was coming home for me and I took a sabbatical from reopening a studio. I started working at a wildlife sanctuary and fell in love with nature all over again and joined their educational team. I started the Junior Naturalist program educating children on the environment and native wildlife and I was inspired to draw and photograph the wildlife all around me. In the pursuit of all things spiritual and for the highest good of all I was intruduced to Reiki. I was attuned to Reiki many years ago and it has magically transformed my life. I believe Reiki, astrology and tarot can open up many avenues for self transformation. I become a certified Life Coach with my interest in the spiritual realm I am interested in helping others reach their potential. I am leading workshops and offering one on one counseling through The Art of Self Discovery Life Coaching. I am hosting meditation classes to offer a quiet time to listen to our inner guidance and offer support to eachother. In starting White Wing llc I want my art and photography to inspire you to reconnect with your spirit, to reach your life path goals, keep close to natures heart, become good stewards for the environment, and remember to capture your special moments.
